Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns for private equity, hedge fund, and fund of funds clients
  • Serve as a career advisor and mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers
  • Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality service to clients
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their tax compliance and consulting requirements
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
  • Manage multiple complex issues and projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in business taxation, preferably with a Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firm
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, with a working knowledge of state tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and team members
  • Ability to travel, with varying frequency depending on client needs
