We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our young patients and supporting their families during challenging times.
Compensation:
Compensation is determined based on the specific assignment and experience level.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program is mandatory.
- Experience: Experience requirements vary based on the position.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required, along with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Physical Requirements:
Position demands include prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, and the ability to lift, push, or pull over 100 pounds. Candidates should possess strong communication, auditory, and visual skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to write clearly. Exposure to various environmental factors, including chemicals and infectious materials, may occur.
