Position: Small Package Operator - Weekend Shift
The Small Package Operator plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the Small Package Area (SPA) Department. This position involves the manual handling of products in preparation for ongoing shipments of small package items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve orders and organize products for the packaging area.
- Label merchandise or materials related to small package items before they leave the distribution center.
- Manually stack and unstack products in preparation for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain physical activity, including frequent sitting and standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, and the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail is essential.
- A collaborative approach to achieving common goals is required.
