Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet every guest with a smile and a friendly demeanor
  • Assist guests in purchases and provide personalized service
  • Operate the cash register and process customer payments efficiently
  • Refer to guests by their name whenever possible and thank them for their business
  • Continually push self and others to obtain speed of service goals
  • Answer the telephone and respond to guest inquiries
  • Brew coffee and maintain the cleanliness of the fountain area
  • Stock the roller grill and deli bar, and check in vendors
  • Build displays for merchandise and stock shelves
  • Restock cooler doors and freezer, and bag ice
  • Clean restrooms, sweep and mop the sales area, and empty trash containers
  • Wipe down gas and diesel pumps, and pick up outside trash and sweep the lot
  • Clear walkways of snow and spread ice melt
  • Attend regularly scheduled team and safety meetings
  • Take initiative to report violations of safety, sanitation, or security policies to management

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand for a minimum of 4 hours at a time
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds

Other Demands of this Job:

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Ability to show up for work on time and when scheduled
  • Ability to get along with co-workers and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to speak English, with all other languages a plus
  • Willingness to solve guest concerns or problems

Experience Required: Experience is preferred but not required. We will test to determine the level of basic knowledge.
