Litigation Associate

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced litigation associate to join our Commercial Litigation Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general commercial litigation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

The role involves managing all aspects of commercial litigation, including case evaluations, client communications, and strategy development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 - $195,000 per year, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation
• Conduct comprehensive legal research
• Handle e-discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Admission to the state bar (Oregon)
• Proven experience in case evaluations, client communications, and strategy development
• Proficiency in e-discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitration, and mediations
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
