Seeking a highly motivated and experienced litigation associate to join our Commercial Litigation Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general commercial litigation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
The role involves managing all aspects of commercial litigation, including case evaluations, client communications, and strategy development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 - $195,000 per year, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial litigation
- Conduct comprehensive legal research
- Handle e-discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation
- Admission to the state bar (Oregon)
- Proven experience in case evaluations, client communications, and strategy development
- Proficiency in e-discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitration, and mediations
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
