Position Overview
  • Title: Maintenance Assistant
  • Location: Beverly, MA
  • Compensation: $18 per hour
  • Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week (Monday-Friday, preferably either 5am-8am or 4pm-7pm)
Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the safety and upkeep of our Beverly Day Program facility. This includes:
  • Conducting general maintenance tasks
  • Assisting with furniture relocation as needed
  • Replacing light bulbs
  • Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and office spaces
  • Maintaining cleanliness of floors and surfaces
  • Providing assistance with home location cleaning and special projects at other Communitas sites as required
  • Performing light plumbing duties, such as unclogging drains and repairing faucets
  • Painting and completing other related tasks as assigned
Training and Development
Participation in agency training sessions is required to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge of maintenance practices
  • A strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
  • Successful completion of background and reference checks
Compensation Details
Hourly wage of $18.00.
