Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Indiana University Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures, preparing and operating equipment, and positioning patients correctly to record high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures in a timely and efficient manner, demonstrating expertise in computed tomography imaging.
  • Prepare and operate equipment, including computed tomography scanners, to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Position patients correctly to record diagnostic images, taking into account patient comfort and safety.
  • Follow physician instructions and maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Active status through the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient conditions do not permit routine positioning.
  • Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
