Compensation:
$25-30 per hour

Position Overview:


The Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for executing hands-on maintenance and repair tasks for various equipment and facilities. This includes plumbing, electrical work, basic carpentry, HVAC systems, and other essential building operations.


Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections to identify equipment or systems requiring repair.

• Diagnose issues to ascertain necessary corrective actions.

• Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies.

• Plan repair activities utilizing building schematics or equipment manuals as necessary.

• Execute general repairs that do not necessitate specialized skills, such as drywall installation, painting, and fixing doors and other fixtures.

• Assist the maintenance team with larger projects.

• Perform routine upkeep on building systems.

• Maintain cleanliness and support the overall upkeep of facilities.

• Aid in preventative maintenance initiatives.

• Procure supplies and materials essential for repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills/Abilities:
• Strong time management capabilities.

Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial maintenance roles.

• Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

• A valid Driver's license is required; a Motor Vehicle Record check will be conducted to ensure safe driving practices.
