Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Boston Medical Center. As a Magnet recognized organization, we prioritize quality care and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care across the healthcare continuum, from antepartum to postpartum.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a nursing degree program; BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current basic life support (BLS) certification; some units may require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • At least one year of high-risk RN LD experience required; experience in working with a high-risk population and neonatal abstinence syndrome is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data/information.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various healthcare team members, patients, and families.
  • Organizational skills to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work.
