Job Title: Groundperson

The Groundperson is a crucial member of our utility line clearance team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and services. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate chainsaws and other equipment to cut and remove brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
  • Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chippers to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Service and maintain vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing to join the local union and pay union dues.
