Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Jefferson Hills. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising nursing personnel, and coordinating care delivery to ensure that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice. This is a full-time position with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and new wage scales.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support to residents and their families.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing personnel, ensuring that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate care delivery with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in a gerontological nursing setting, preferably with experience working with dementia populations.
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, as well as push, pull, and lift objects up to 20 pounds.
