Every role within our organization plays a vital part in enhancing patient care, and we seek a committed Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy to lead our team.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Role Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing clinical, managerial, and operational functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with state regulations. The Supervisor will guide clinical practices and patient care strategies, exercising leadership through collaboration and problem-solving.

Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration, or enrollment in an accredited program with a commitment to complete the degree within three years of hire. Must also be a graduate of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Program and obtain NBRC National Certification in a specialty area within one year.
  • Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Required License: Valid North Carolina Respiratory Care License, along with BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
  • Required Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting, particularly in critical care, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
