We are seeking a motivated and experienced Group Lead for our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
The Group Lead will lead and supervise a team of machinists on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets. They will coordinate with other shift leads and management to ensure seamless transition and communication across shifts.
The Group Lead will monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring all products meet company specifications and customer requirements. They will train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
The Group Lead will address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. They will implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
RequirementsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus.
Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools is preferred.
