Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Deli Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Parkhurst Dining. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all Deli items to order and in a timely manner, adhering to Parkhurst standards and procedures.
  • Prepare the service line for operation as instructed by the Executive Chef and/or Manager on duty, ensuring it is garnished properly at all times.
  • Check the quality of food items, ensuring they meet standards of taste, appearance, and correct temperature, and report any substandard quality to the Executive Chef and/or Manager on duty.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, following Smile Plus Hospitality Imperatives.
  • Post all necessary signage and merchandise the service area.
  • Follow production sheets to establish proper serving utensils.
  • Operate and clean all equipment used.
  • Complete prep needed for the following meal, including box lunches or catering.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule as provided by management, using clean as you go techniques.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards.
  • Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
