Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to join our team at Lemartec Corporation. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient scheduling, management, and coordination of all subcontractors, construction trades, and labor crews to ensure quality and construction progress according to the project Master Schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors and construction trades, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensure compliance with project specifications and safety protocols, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Develop and implement safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control inspections, ensure compliance with project specifications, and identify and address any quality issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, construction trades, and company personnel, to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP projects.
  • Skills: Proven project scheduling, planning, and organization skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling programs, and document control software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience as a construction superintendent, with experience in projects greater than $20 million.
  • Skills: Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6), bilingual (English/Spanish), and willingness to travel.
