Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine exams on patients, ensuring technical quality of images and collecting biologic specimens.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on imaging equipment, and assist with accreditation applications.
  • Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management and take emergency calls within the department.
  • Provide safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate in Basic Life Support and current license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), plus one of the following certifications: Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N) or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Ability to lift and maneuver patients, demonstrating teamwork and effective communication skills.
