Arrow Staffing is seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join their team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a leader in micro technology, the company thrives in a culture of innovation and attracts exceptional individuals who continually seek new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate precision machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to cut, sharpen, bore, grind, repair, or make tools from metal or plastic materials to meet production requirements.
- Inspect, fabricate, and finish tools using visual inspection techniques, microscopes, micrometers, automated measuring instruments, chamfering, buffering, polishing, and other finishing techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat, and/or skin.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in tool grinding or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret written and oral instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally exert push force up to 50 pounds.
