Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at SEKISUI Aerospace. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and products throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Management: Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Inventory Control: Fill and/or create requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly lines.
  • Storage and Retrieval: Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
  • Order Fulfillment: Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Ensure parts are pulled, kitted, and ready in advance of actual production needs and maintain accurate inventory records.
Requirements
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce and communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to comprehend and follow specifications and procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficient mathematical skills to perform calculations and maintain inventory records.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with cycle counting programs and ERP systems.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Typically work indoors in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with occasional exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
  • Physical Demands: Requires standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day, lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending, and handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
