Key Responsibilities- Assessment: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory results.
- Diagnosis: Analyze assessment data to determine the patient's condition and develop a plan of care.
- Outcome Identification: Identify expected outcomes for the patient, including short-term and long-term goals.
- Planning: Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implementation: Implement the plan of care, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a healthy environment.
- Evaluation: Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and make adjustments to the plan of care as needed.
- Patient Relationships: Manage nurse-patient relationships, including advocacy, comfort, cultural competence, and sensitivity, therapeutic communication, education, and healthcare transition management.
- Practice Standards: Meet all practice/safety, HCAHPS, and quality standards.
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
