Position Summary

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated registered nurses to become integral members of our compassionate care team within the ICU Float Pool.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across our six ICU units or their corresponding step-down units.

Sign-On Bonus: $6,000 - This bonus will be distributed in two installments: half at 90 days of employment and the remaining half after one year. This incentive is available exclusively for new hires at University Hospitals with a minimum of one year of RN experience.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:

- Comprehensive understanding of nursing processes and practices.
- Proficient in utilizing a diverse range of technical equipment to fulfill patient needs and implement prescribed medical therapies (e.g., stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, and electronic monitoring devices).
- A minimum of one year of RN experience is preferred.

Educational Background:

- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is preferred.
- At least a Diploma or Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited program is required.

Licensure Requirements:

- Must possess a current registered nurse license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, is required to be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
