Position Overview

As an integral member of the CAMC Health System, the physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to patients, adhering to the stipulations of the employment agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality cardiology care to patients, ensuring compliance with established medical standards and practices. Care will be administered in suitable environments, with collaboration from the healthcare team at each location. The physician will oversee all patient care matters and will bear ultimate responsibility for the outcomes of patient interactions.
  • Maintain current technical and medical proficiency through initial orientation, provisional assessments, and ongoing evaluations to confirm the ability to utilize the full scope of cardiology privileges.
  • Exhibit competency in additional responsibilities and professional duties as outlined in the position description and in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Show a commitment to reviewing practice-related data from recognized registries and quality initiatives to enhance processes and outcomes, promoting continuous learning and improvement in care delivery.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


For positions involving direct patient interaction, the employee must acquire and demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate assessment, treatment, or care as defined by the department's patient demographics.

Specifically, the employee must demonstrate proficiency in: 1) the ability to gather and interpret information relevant to patient needs; 2) understanding of growth and development; and 3) awareness of the treatment spectrum required by patients.

Educational Requirements

  • Medical Degree (Mandatory)

Education:
