Job Title: Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide continuous care to our medically fragile clients/patients in their homes.

About the Role:
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for our clients/patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our team
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in our system of record in a timely and compliant manner
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
