Job Overview

Barton Healthcare Staffing is a leading healthcare staffing agency specializing in the placement of highly skilled respiratory therapists.

We are currently seeking a Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Tennessee.

As a Critical Care Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in critical care respiratory therapy and hold current RRT or CRT certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide bronchodilator therapy and airway clearance techniques to patients with various respiratory conditions

• Perform ABG collection and analysis to inform patient care decisions

• Manage tracheostomy care and ventilator settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Assist with intubations and patient assessments as needed

• Administer high flow oxygen therapy to patients requiring supplemental oxygen

• Transport patients safely and efficiently throughout the hospital

• Respond to code blue situations with confidence and poise

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee Respiratory Therapy license

• RRT or CRT certification

• BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)

• Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience

• Proficiency in ventilator management and critical care techniques
