Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical group in Laurinburg, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations
  • Reviews patient medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course
  • Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients
  • Performs patient exams/consultations
  • Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests
  • Interprets laboratory and test results
  • Diagnoses and treatment/care plan formulation
  • Confers with physicians, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care
  • Provides health education and counseling
Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school, such as a Master of Science in nursing or Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
  • Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner license in NC
  • 2-4 years of clinical work experience
  • Must be willing to work independently and be responsible for your own caseload
