Position Overview

As a Program Manager, you will act as the key liaison for both external clients and internal stakeholders. Your role will involve the effective oversight of multiple simultaneous projects, which includes planning, tracking, and facilitating project initiation and progress meetings. You will work in close partnership with clients and sales teams to formulate Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage project boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and enforcing configuration control

Qualifications Required

To excel in this position, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management is essential, ideally within the aerospace sector. Specific qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace contract manufacturing, particularly in machining and assembly projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field); a Master's degree is preferred
  • Experience collaborating with the FAA, Aviation Safety, Aircraft Certification Service, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Local Aircraft Certification Office, and Airframe & Services Section
  • Proficiency in aerospace process specifications and qualifications
  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, and team leadership
  • Expertise in MS Office and Project Management tools
  • Proven ability to comprehend and adhere to customer specifications
  • Self-motivated with a strong emphasis on customer performance requirements
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Cargo Systems
  • Prior experience in an AS9100 certified environment
  • Exceptional skills in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • PgMP or PMP Certification is advantageous
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
