Job Title: PCS Technician

As a PCS Technician at Aerotek, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facility. Under the guidance of our experienced team, you will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of electronic and pneumatic instruments, as well as facility systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and troubleshoot equipment to diagnose problems and offer solutions
  • Perform repairs, replace broken or defective parts, and make necessary adjustments for operation
  • Participate in safety meetings, reviews, investigations, and HAZOPS as needed
  • Work overtime, shift work, and provide off-shift coverage as required

Requirements:
  • Instrumentation experience
  • Electrical knowledge, including Allen Bradley PLCs, PLC 5 RS Logix, and Rockwell automation
  • Calibration skills, including 24V DC calibration
  • Ability to perform PMs and troubleshooting
  • Experience with common repairs, such as transmitter testing for level, temperature, and flow

Work Environment:

Our facility is an industrial chemical manufacturing environment with older equipment. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, with on-call rotation based on team size. The dress code is long sleeves, long pants, steel toes, and safety glasses. Our culture is centered around teamwork, safety, and getting the job done.
