  • Work under a delineation of clinical privileges, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Develop and implement plans of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, evaluating patient data and formulating differential diagnoses.
  • Perform or recommend age-appropriate health screening procedures and diagnostic tests.
  • Provide health maintenance and promotion for women of all ages.
  • Serve as an educational resource for patients, families, communities, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in departmental Quality Improvement programs annually.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Nurse Practitioner experience in OB and GYN strongly preferred.
