Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana. As a key member of our donation center team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our donors and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Sort and process donated items in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Goodwill's quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Goodwill's safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate a cash register and process donations, issuing receipts as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail environment an asset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of high stress. You must be able to work effectively in a team setting and adapt to changing priorities.
