Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse II

Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse II plays a crucial role in enhancing patient health outcomes. We are dedicated to fostering a culture that prioritizes patient care and strives to make a meaningful impact in our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse II is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process. This includes:
- Assessing, planning, delivering, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Documenting and collecting relevant patient health information accurately.
- Analyzing assessment data to identify patient issues and adapting care plans accordingly.
- Implementing and recording interventions based on patient diagnoses.
- Supervising the care provided by LPNs and support staff.
- Ensuring informed consent is obtained for all procedures.
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills in nursing practices.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Vocational/Technical Diploma in a Professional Nursing Program.
- Preferred: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- A current New York State Registered Nurse license.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- BLS certification within six months of hire.
