Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Tinley Park Ambulatory Care Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using approved techniques
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) for cardiology interpretation
• Focus on the needs of the patient and exemplify the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect, and cooperation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
• Less than one year of previous job-related experience
• Licensure/Certifications: CPR must be obtained within 90 days of hire, American Heart Association (AHA) Only

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification from a recognized agency
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
