Matrix Providers is seeking a skilled Optometrist to conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pensions exams for Veterans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eye care and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The Optometrist will review pertinent medical history documentation and provide comprehensive eye exams to evaluate for loss of vision, glaucoma, injury to the eye, etc. Visual Field Testing may be required, and equipment will be supplied. The Optometrist must have and meet the following requirements: actively hold valid and unrestricted licensure as an Optometrist, be a qualified licensed Optometrist, have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and possess basic computer skills.
