Job Description

As a key member of the Operations leadership team at AIRSYS Cooling Technologies, Inc., the Production Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and achieve production targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual production plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineering Department to develop efficiency enhancement plans for key projects and products.
  • Supervise work order closures, monitor production cycles, and continually seek improvements.
  • Ensure the effective execution of production plans, coordinate planning, and arrange production tasks with quality and quantity assurance.
  • Handle PTO to Production irregularity management, verification of material completeness, and downtime management.
  • Collaborate with the HR department for new employee recruitment and manage the probationary period.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of related small batch manufacturing experience with management experience.
  • Knowledge of and manufacturing experience in the cooling industry preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing/assembly/Brazing/Sheet metal, 5S, and quality control principles.
  • Familiar with local law and regulation.
  • Strong leadership in manufacturing from operator to manager.
  • Strong health & safety regulations, safety trained, and safety conscious.
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP.
  • Good at problem-solving, logically thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and influence others.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good execution.
  • Good learning agility, self-driven, engaged, willing to take challenges.
  • Hands-on approach working closely with the plant management team and strong floor presence.
  • Work under pressure, working actively and full of passion and sense of responsibility.
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial attitude with desire to learn and expand knowledge and capability.
