Pediatric Hospital Medicine Opportunities in a Dynamic Academic Setting

As a Pediatric Hospitalist at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic academic setting with a strong focus on education and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary admitting team for many of our pediatric subspecialists, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring seamless transitions between teams.
- Participate in co-management with surgical specialists at each of our hospital sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Provide sedation service at Covenant Children's for children undergoing procedures or sedated imaging, demonstrating expertise and compassion.
- Work 7 on 7 off with 24-hour evening call from home, with flexibility to balance work and personal life.
- Build in Administrative time to focus on education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with medical school and pediatric residency programs, providing oversight on inpatient rotations, education in hospital medicine, and mentorship.
- Participate in additional shift options at the High-Risk Newborn Clinic, expanding your clinical expertise and impact.
