Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Northwest Health - Porter, you will be responsible for providing patient services using nuclear imaging modalities. You will exercise professional judgment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, collaborating with nursing associates and physicians to provide essential patient care. You will implement the mission, goals, and standards of practice established by the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Porter Health System.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals
• Collaborate with nursing associates and physicians to provide patient care
• Implement the mission, goals, and standards of practice established by the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Porter Health System
Requirements:
• Certified in Nuclear Medicine or meet the requirements for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board
• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited educational program or equivalent
• License with the State of Indiana
• CPR Certification required within 6 months of employment
• ARRT Registered Technologist. Radiologic Technologist license in the State of Indiana
• Nuclear Medicine certification is required
• Board Eligibility or current registry with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and licensed in nuclear medicine with the Indiana State Department of Health
