Job Summary

Aerospace CNC Programmer - Join Air Industries Group as a skilled CNC programmer to create and evaluate CNC programs for vertical and horizontal lathes and multi-axis milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and evaluate CNC programs for vertical and horizontal lathes and multi-axis milling machines.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of feeds and speeds for aerospace materials.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement lean manufacturing techniques and improve processes.
  • Develop and maintain shop floor documentation, including operation sheets and work instructions.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives using lean manufacturing techniques.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles.
  • Experience with complex aerospace parts, including milling and turning processes.
  • Unigraphics NX experience.
  • Lean manufacturing techniques and tools.
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively in English.
