Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including attending rounds with physicians and reviewing treatment plans.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Supervise and assign tasks to nursing staff, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise to provide timely interventions.
- Evaluate and manage patients' pain, utilizing approved pain scales and documenting interventions and outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Associate's degree in nursing
- 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Preferred experience in critical care
