Key Responsibilities
The Hemodialysis Technician will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide care and support to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and disinfecting dialysis equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Ordering and stocking supplies necessary for in-patient dialysis treatment.
- Monitoring and cleaning the supply area to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse or management team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
- One year of hemodialysis experience preferred.
- Hemodialysis Technician Certification or equivalent training.
