Job Overview

At Davis & Green, Inc., we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Commercial Dispatcher to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely communication and efficient scheduling for our electrical service technicians.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and prioritizing service requests from clients, scheduling and dispatching technicians, and maintaining clear and effective communication with technicians in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and prioritize service requests from clients, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, optimizing routes for efficiency.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with technicians in the field, providing them with necessary information and updates.
  • Monitor and track job progress to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving any issues that arise during service calls, providing support to both customers and technicians.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, job statuses, and technician schedules.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in dispatching or scheduling preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the electrical service industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
