Job Summary:

Responsible for the routine and complex inspection, maintenance, repair, alteration, and installation of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, emergency generation, and water distribution systems. This includes overseeing contractors performing service work to meet Memorial Healthcare System standards for quality, compliance, and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees contractors performing service work to ensure quality, compliance, and workmanship meet Memorial Healthcare System standards.

Repairs, monitors, and maintains central equipment plant, performing routine inspections and monitoring systems and controls.

Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions as necessary to avoid hazards and defects, utilizing knowledge of code requirements, power tools, and building materials.

Actively mentors peers on the basics of physical plant operations work, focusing on safety and compliance requirements.

Supports construction and project initiatives through scope development, sketches, field assessment, and document review to ensure compliance and specific facility building standards are met.
