Paramedic: PRN

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team at Firelands Regional Medical Center. As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with acute illnesses or injuries.

• Assess patients and provide care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and care
• Perform various medical procedures, including intubation, cardiac monitoring, and IV/IO insertion
• Document patient information and care rendered
• Participate in the delivery of patient care and actively seek opportunities for improvement

• Graduate of an accredited paramedic training program
• Current certification as an EMT-Paramedic from the State of Ohio; National Registry preferred
• Minimum one year's experience in pre-hospital emergency care
• Current certification in BLS and ACLS; PALS within one year of employment
