Lecturer in Accounting

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer to join our School of Accounting at James Madison University. As a Lecturer, you will play a vital role in teaching introductory financial and managerial accounting courses, as well as contributing to departmental service and maintaining professional qualifications.

• Teach introductory financial and managerial accounting courses
• Contribute to departmental service
• Maintain professional qualifications in accordance with the College of Business Guidelines for Faculty Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or business from an AACSB-accredited institution
• Significant and substantive professional work experience within the past five years relevant to the position or currently qualified as an instructional or scholarly practitioner at an AACSB institution
• Preferred qualifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and experience in teaching spreadsheet skills or data analysis for accountants
