Job Title: MRI Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the MRI table to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Set technical parameters and monitor image data on computer screens during scans.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, ensuring patient safety at all times.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner, promoting a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
