Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Lead Cashier to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, expediting transactions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service Expertise: Greet and acknowledge every guest, maintain solid product knowledge, and provide outstanding guest service.
  • Cash Handling and Control: Authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, and other transactions, ensuring the proper control of cash and media at PoS registers.
  • Team Leadership: Help train cashiers, crosstrain other associates, and oversee the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of cashiers.
  • Operational Support: Prepare daily deposits, change, and media, and maintain front-end supplies.
  • Loss Prevention: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support loss-prevention efforts.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to train and learn.
