Floorhand

We are seeking a skilled Floorhand to join our team at Plants and Goodwin, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing manual labor tasks on the workover rig floor.

• Operate the workover rig and support equipment on a daily basis
• Assist in the mobilization and rigging up and down of the workover rig
• Use tongs and slips to connect and disconnect drill pipe, tubulars, casing, and drill bits or tools
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment and the physical space of the drill floor
• Participate in JSA and tailgate meetings as scheduled
• Assist in preparing tools necessary for the job
• Wash and maintain trucks and equipment as needed
• Assist in the daily inspection and maintenance of equipment

• Valid state-issued driver's license, CDL, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to perform manual labor required to operate rig equipment
• Ability to comply with DOT Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule

• $19.00 - $22.00 / hour
• $25.00 / day rig bonus
• $55.00 / day per diem
