The main focus of this position is to assist passengers during the boarding and disembarking processes, operate the Jetway, monitor computerized passenger boarding systems, and guide and park aircraft. Candidates must successfully complete the Customer Service Agent training program, be capable of lifting up to seventy (70) pounds, and be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This role will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking flights.
  • Monitor computerized systems for passenger boarding.
  • Provide assistance to customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors.
  • Modify customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as necessary.
  • Operate the Jetway efficiently.
  • Load and unload baggage and cargo.
  • Utilize motorized service vehicles and equipment.
  • Guide and park aircraft safely.
  • Perform maintenance tasks within the cabin.
  • Collaborate as a team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve corporate goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Completion of the required training program.
  • Ability to meet company objectives and customer expectations in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience in the airline industry.
  • Previous roles in front-line customer service.
  • Basic understanding of computer applications and software.
Work Environment:
  • Utilization of computers, telephones, and various office equipment.
  • Exposure to an airport ramp environment, subject to diverse weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent activities including stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Regular handling of objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Assistance for passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs.

Compensation:
$15.25 per hour
