Job Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the facility according to Federal and State Guidelines for food manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will assist in executing all sanitation tasks related to the Master Sanitation Schedule, operate cleaning systems and equipment, and maintain daily reports and records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all sanitation tasks related to the Master Sanitation Schedule
  • Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified
  • Maintain daily reports, logs, and records according to standard operating procedures
  • Perform all other Sanitation jobs in the facility
  • Ensure all Safety and Quality Program standards are met in the facility

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to follow written methods and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to follow specific work direction and adjust as necessary
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and walking up to 12 hours
  • Lifting and carrying 25 to 50 lbs
  • Pushing/pulling more than 1,000 lbs using a pallet jack
