Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Information Security Executive to join our team at AMETEK, Inc. as the Corporate Director of Cyber Security.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security management program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

This includes leading the identification, assessment, and prioritization of security risks; recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies; conducting security risk assessments and audits; managing third-party risks; and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a strategic information security plan that aligns with business objectives and ensures security policies, standards, and practices are embedded across the organization.
    • Provide guidance and leadership on security best practices to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Risk Management:
    • Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of security risks; recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct security risk assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of security controls.
    • Manage third-party risks and ensure secure relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and other relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
    • Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Response and Threat Management:
    • Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
    • Lead the response to security incidents and breaches, ensuring the protection of critical systems and sensitive data.
  • Team Management:
    • Build, manage, and lead a team of information security professionals.
    • Develop and oversee security training programs to raise awareness among employees.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, and 15+ years of experience in information security roles, including 7+ years in leadership or executive positions.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
