RequirementsEducation and Experience

A minimum of two years of education or experience in a related field is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary for this role. Preference is given to candidates with training or experience in substance abuse and behavioral health services.

Certifications and Licenses

You must hold a valid Arizona Driver's License to transport clients and staff. Certification in Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid is also required upon hire, with re-certification every two years. A Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, TB test, and Handle with Care certification are mandatory within the first three months of employment and annually thereafter.Knowledge and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Interact positively with clients who may exhibit difficult behavior
  • Perform complex mental activities with frequent involvement in technical situations
  • Work effectively under stressful conditions
  • Make sound judgments based on scientific and ethical principles
