As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including vascular, abdominal, and obstetric/gynecologic procedures.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement protocols for ultrasound procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • ARDMS certification required; RVT certification preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Experience with Canon Aplio i700 and Philips Affiniti ultrasound equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule Information:

The position will work a 6-day schedule, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, and Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays working a regular schedule.
