Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-time/Seasonal Licensed Spa Massage Therapist to join our team at Playa Largo Resort & Spa. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage and body treatments to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality massage and body treatments to guests, adhering to the Franchise and Shaner Brand Standard.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for guests, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Perform all treatments on the services menu based on current licensure.
  • Assess contraindications of guests and take necessary precautions.
  • Meet the needs of guests throughout the service, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Understand and use universal precautions when providing services.
  • Clean and disinfect all equipment.
  • Maintain product knowledge and recommend products for home use.
  • Suggest other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
  • Inform management of product needs and create client cards and treatment notes.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid state license in massage therapy or other credentials required by the state.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous spa experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments a plus.
  • Previous massage and body work experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Must be able to build rapport with guests.
  • Ability to explain various treatments/services to guests.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
  • Efficient, well-organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Strong team player.
